About Soulshine

Our Story

Emily McDoniels M.Ed., 500+ E-RYT and Second Degree Reiki Practitioner, created Soulshine Yoga in Milwaukee to honor self-love and to join as a community to nurture the abilities we have within us to heal ourselves and lead healthy lifestyles.

As a Montessori educator and professor Emily understands the vital importance of self-care. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. envisioned the Beloved Community as the framework for the future where kindness and respect are natural parts of communication. Utilizing the tools of breath and movement, we nurture ways to heal ourselves,respect and love ourselves and expand our divine light into the community.

Our Vision

Yoga means "union" in Sanskrit. We will come together in a healing space to share our energy, but more importantly to find our own yoga of body and mind.

Through gentle movements and breathing exercises we tap into the electric energy of our ancestors that runs through our veins and within our spirit.

Participants leave class feeling nourished and empowered.
